Details
This VIsion Scientific compound microscope has a 45° inclined dual viewing head that reduces neck and eye strain. The WF 10x and WF 20x eyepieces are interchangeable, allowing for increased magnification from 40x—2000x. The WF 10x eyepiece with a scale pointer ensures that definite points on the slide can be easily designated, identified and measured.
The 40xR and 100xR objectives are retractable and spring-loaded to prevent damage to slides and objectives when focusing. It is also sealed to protect against further damage that can be caused from contact with liquid or oils. For added safety, it is equipped with a rack-stop which helps to prevent damage to slides and objective lenses, while the slip-clutch system protects gears from damage.
Brightfield LED illumination illuminates the specimen from below, making the specimen appear bright, but much darker than the bright background. This allows the darker specimen to be contrasted by the surrounding bright viewing field.
