This compound microscope has cool-to-touch, long-lasting LED Illumination and is equipped with intensity control to adjust the amount of light being transmitted to the stage. The DIN achromatic objectives are parfocaled and parcentered, to ensure the image stays centered and focused during every magnification change. The 40XR and 100XR objectives are retractable and spring-loaded to prevent damage to slides and objectives when focusing. They are also sealed to protect against further damage that can be caused from contact with liquid or oils. For added safety, it is equipped with a rack-stop which helps to prevent damage to slides and objective lenses, while the slip-clutch system protects gears from damage. The double layer, built-in mechanical stage is low-profile and ball-bearing, with a mounted specimen holder, ensuring easy mobility and precise control of specimen under observation.
